"Statue of George Washington"

This statue of George Washington is located on the campus of Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. It was taken with a Pluabel Makina Proshift on 120 Tri-X film. One of the fraternitiy dorms is visible in the background. Unlike other colleges and universities named after George, he actually served on the board at Washington College, which was a few years back.
During my years at ole W. C., I frequently walked the campus at night, searching out interesting night photos and generally causing trouble. It was, and undoubtedly still is, an interesting place to attend. I would have played my part entirely differently, if you were to listen to my recollections today. But, the past doesn't get undone.
For someone growing up in New York, it was my first exposure to a small community. These were crucial years too. I'm glad I chose to be there.
